Catherine has over 20 years’ experience in Organisation Development, Executive and Team Coaching. She works locally and globally and with organisation of all sizes and across sectors. Her work focusses on helping leaders and managers make sustained developmental shifts, at both individual and team levels. This is turn helps them to create and build effective organisations which can achieve results and respond to the complex environment they exist within. She has a reputation for working imaginatively and effectively with individuals, leaders, and teams, drawing on a wide range of approaches to help them to learn and develop. Catherine builds strong relationships with her clients and often works with them over several years, initially designing and delivering interventions, later becoming a trusted advisor.
Catherine works both on her own and with colleagues to deliver a wide range of innovative solutions for clients. Examples of recent engagements include – design and facilitation of a Global High Potential Leaders programme in the pharmaceutical sector, a global People Manager Development programme in the retail sector. Catherine coaches several Leadership Teams on an ongoing basis. In the Financial sector Catherine coaches Leaders and has delivered programmes building capability in Coaching, Facilitation and Influencing, as well as Culture Change initiatives for whole organisations. Catherine’s works with several Not-for-Profit organisations delivering development programmes for managers and leaders who want to strengthen their organisational capability to lead social and economic change programmes globally.
In the Public sector projects include modular Leadership and Management programmes which included workshops, Coaching and Action Learning elements.
Catherine holds a BA in Psychology from UCD, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Coaching Psychology from Leeds Beckett University. She is also a member of EMCC and subscribes to the EMCC Code of Ethics. She is a certified Practitioner in MBTI, 16PF and OPQ Psychological Assessment tools to BPS level A & B. She is a licensed Lead on the world-renowned Positive Power and Influence Programme and trained in Advanced Consulting Skills with the Gestalt Institute of London and the Gestalt Approach to Consulting with Ed Nevis of the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. She also studied to Creative Process with Robert Fritz (Vermont, USA) and Story Telling for Personal and Organisational Change.
Catherine is passionate about helping people to develop, and to create organisations that will make a difference to others. She was inspired at the start of her career by values driven leaders in a Financial Services Organisation in Dublin who demonstrated the importance of bringing integrity, kindness, and humanness no matter what the circumstances. These early lessons have shaped her journey as a consultant – finding the balance between the drive for success while remaining connected to what matters, and to each other.
She spent several years in London as a partner in a niche consultancy whose approach was deeply relational and rooted in Gestalt approach to organisation change - an approach which characterises her work today. Catherine's current interests include helping women leaders to establish their personal brand of leadership in organisations which are often culturally masculine. She is passionate about helping people to develop ways of leading, managing and working which enhance organisational effectiveness and also bring personal fulfilment.
